Two-year LIVE_FOR (Criminal Justice Access to Digital Evidences in the Cloud – LIVE_FORensics) project, co-funded by EU DG Justice, will identify the state of the art including the problems and obstacles for putting the Directive 2014/41/EU and the European Investigation Order to life, and enhance the awareness among judicial authorities about the newest scientific and educational achievements in the selected domains (live forensic in cloud computing environments).

Six institutions with high reputation regarding their scientific and educational achievements from five EU countries participate in the project: Jozef Stefan Institute (Slovenia) as coordinator, and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium), Universitat Politecnica de Datalunya (Spain), Fachhochschule Albstadt Sigmaringen (Germany), Masaryk University (Czech Republic) and Universidad Autonoma de Madrid (Spain) as partners.

The project activities include analytical activities, educational and training activities, and awareness building. The main target groups of those activities are prosecutors, law enforcement agencies, investigators, civil entities working in the prevention of cybercrime and cyberterrorism, business entities, and higher educational institutions with programs in information security, fight against cybercrime, and digital forensics.
