The Laboratory for Open Systems and Networks at the Jožef Stefan Institute is calling for a young researcher position in the field of new internet technologies and services. The selected candidate will be employed for a fixed-term period of training for obtaining a PhD degree, for a maximum of three years and six months.
Qualifications: a university degree, a completed second-cycle (Bologna) study programme or a completed scientific master's degree in an appropriate field (computer science, information science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, organisational sciences, business informatics or other related fields), a grade point average of at least 8.00 across all courses, fulfilment of the requirements for enrolment in third-cycle (postgraduate) studies, and an age of at most 28 years.
Assessment criteria: grade point average across all courses, awards and recognition received, published articles, participation in research work.
Start date: October 2018.
