The Laboratory for Open Systems and Networks at the Jožef Stefan Institute organised the regular INDEPENDENT project meeting in Portorož from 14 to 16 October 2 says 2025. The event took the form of a three-day working conference featuring several smaller workshops covering the project's working areas: customer energy management systems (CEM), aggregator energy management systems (AEMS), plug-and-play implementation and continuous marketing of energy solutions, piloting and evaluation of solutions in pilots, as well as creating market effects and increasing the visibility of the project and its solutions.
The project is characterised by high-tech solutions in end-user energy management and management at the aggregator level, along with a range of challenging pilots in various European countries: Finland, Germany, Sweden, and Slovenia. The project meeting, organised in preparation for the first pilot tests, contributed to improved and clearer organisation of project work and experiments.
News about the project meeting was also published on social media. The meeting was organised by an organising committee consisting of dr. Dušan Gabrijelčič, Davud Topalović, and dr. Ramanpreet Kaur.
