How to get to Jozef Stefan Institute by LOCAL TRANSPORTATION?

In Ljubljana the local transportation is performed by buses (Ljubljanski potniški promet). The fee can be paid only with a smart card called Urbana which can be bought at the selling points of City Public Transport and in tobacco shops. For more information, please visit the webpage of City Public Transport. There is a bus stop in front of the main bus station called Kolodvor. Take any bus except 12 and 25, take off on the second bus stop (called Ajdovščina) and change to the line No. 1 (direction Mestni log), 6 (direction Dolgi most) or 6B (direction Vnanje Gorice). We recommend to take bus No. 1, because it stops in front of the entrance to Jozef Stefan Institute on Jadranska cesta (take off at 5th bus stop called Jadranska). Buses No. 6 or No. 6B stop (5th bus stop called Stan in dom) on Trzaška cesta about 5 minutes walking distance from the Institute (cross the main street at traffic lights and walk along Jadranska cesta). See the map with signed bus route.
