Živa Stepančič graduated in 2010 at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, University of Ljubljana. She continued her education with interdisciplinary doctoral study programme of Statistics, mathematical module at University of Ljubljana, and got her Ph.D. in 2015.
Živa researched her doctoral thesis as a young researcher in industry at Arctur d.o.o. After completion of her doctoral studies, she found employment at Institut ”Josef Stefan” (IJS) in september 2015. She currently works at IJS as a research asistent with Ph.D at the Laboratory of Open Sistems and Networks.
