New book on cybercrime and cyberterrorism
Members of the Laboratory for Open Systems and Networks, prof. Borka Jerman-Blažič and asst. prof. Tomaž Klobučar, have contributed a chapter to the book »Combatting Cybercrime and Cyberterrorism: Challenges, Trends and Priorities« published by Springer. In their work, they identified the major technical challenges and missing solutions in the field of cybercrime and cyberterrorism. The identified solutions include technologies and techniques for computer fraud prevention, investigation and detection methods and tools, and crime prevention methods that address human elements.
The book is an important contribution in the fight against cybercrime and cyberterrorism and will help in more effective research and development of cybercrime prevention technologies and methods, development of investigation tools and better understanding of teh cybercrime. The main target group of the book are information security researchers, law enforcement agencies and research policy makers.
