SiQUID – Slovenian Quantum Communication Infrastructure Demonstration

Our laboratory is part of a new project SiQUID that focuses on implementing quantum key distribution links between multiple government nodes in Slovenia and creating a test-bed quantum network between research institutions in Ljubljana. The project was officially launched on January 1, 2023.

Our department will play an important role in SiQUID’s efforts, contributing its expertise in information security and critical infrastructure protection to enhance the project’s scope and accelerate the development of advanced quantum communication protocols.
