Cybersecurity and Large Language Models (V2-2380) is a targeted research project co-funded by the Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency and the Slovenian Government Information Security Office. The main objectives of the project are:

• Review of the state of the art in the use of large language models (LLM) for cybersecurity and identification of use cases of how this technology can be used to enhance cybersecurity capabilities;
• Local deployment and evaluation of a system based on an open source LLM, fine tuned to the needs of different use cases in the field of cybersecurity;
• Exploring the possibility of interfacing with other cybersecurity tools and systems (e.g. SIEM, firewalls);
• Exporting data from the local system into different formats for further use;
• Preparing recommendations on the use of LLMs for cybersecurity.
